“In certain teachings of the East, the Universe is run by, and unified by, a single principle: the Tai Chi or 'Great Ultimate.' The Great Ultimate harbors two forces, Yin and Yang, which are reflective or can seem by appearances to oppose one another in motion and action. Yin is the female force which in this world manifests receptive. Yang is the male force which in this world manifests assertive. In this world All Things show as one of these. Mother Earth and Progenitive Heaven. Fruit-bearing and Creative. Inward and Outward. Yoni and Lingam.
"Yet each of these apparent opposites, in Actuality, give birth to one another, and ARE one another - for together they are another thing entirely and ultimately, merely differentiations of the same ONE Thing...
"Thinking of the progressive differentiation of the ONE into the Many, these two forces are able to accomplish change through the vehicle of their five material agents, 'wu hsing,' which are visible in this world as the five prime elements. All phenomena outside of Absolute Being are accomplished by these two interrelated polarities and birthed through the five as the expansive multitude of Natural and Heavenly things."

Now we move from addressing the essential underpinnings of our Vision – our dreams for a New Culture of Philosophy, Religion, Science and Nature – to examining our Process. And it all begins with how we discern true development and choose to define civilization. This, in turn, distinguishes our aim and then, determines our course of action…
So, let’s look at development. There is internal development and external development to consider. With internal development we strive to awaken the slumbering, latent aspects of the Whole (presence) within us. With external development we strive to collect the scattered pieces of the Whole (existence) outside of us. And the more these two – internal and external – “find each other” or correlate than the more comfortable, beautiful, sensible, efficient, abundant, joyous, fluid, etc., our life becomes.
The reason for this is simple; duality is not the Ultimate Frontier. In Nature, pairs of opposites are treated as the extreme poles of the flux and flow of the same thing. They are twin expressions of one energetic identity, witnessed only through the adept recombination of both extremes. Thus the more internal and external extremes can be brought into balanced, aware correlation, the more whole, powerful and actual things become. Our presence within expressive reality becomes more organic, and the entire face of our nature and identity more closely approach the true frontier of our ultimate Being-ness.
While a logical, practical use of space is important, it is far from the most appropriate, leading consideration. In fact, it isn’t very Human-centric, in that it excludes the internal, failing to consider, for example, the needs of Heart and Spirit. And really, even just examining externalized Human truths, the Human is a very round, curving and organic shape that doesn’t bode well with the square. Cultures practicing an internal or spiritual-type focus most often build with circles, domes, arches and other organic curves.
But remember, we don’t want to develop toward one extreme or the other; we want the New Culture and its individual constituents to represent a harmonious Union of the two.
In thinking of how we want to define development and maintain a dynamic state of evolution, we must consider organization.
Organization is a shape and through that shape something about function should be revealed. For example, a heterarchy of equal positions is depicted as a line or circle, while a hierarchy is shown as a triangle. These forms make a simple statement of the nature of that order.
When evolution generates order at its most advanced, the representative shape pristinely matches the functioning of that order. The shape of the Human body, as a complex and dynamic organization of cells, illustrates this perfectly. Another great example is the superior forms of organization employed by higher social insects – monolithic shapes which are dynamic with interchangeable, cooperative, and highly responsive parts.
And so this is where our thoughts need to be when it comes to determining what the path to progress looks like. How can we bring together the underpinnings of our Vision and work their amalgam into an intelligent and dynamic form of organization that matches with the things we want to accomplish?
Well, we know we want integral and Human-centric systems. We know we want to partner with Nature and reflect the Divine…
In contemplating this, we know that any who participates in an embodiment of the Plan would be conceived of as one body. And we would think of that body like the Human body, and like a Divine body, which brought us to the shape of a Star for visualizing and defining function.
Consider cells, each particular in their exact essence and form to their needed organ and system of function. The number of functions required to enable and empower the body is the number of ways to participate as a member of the body; is the number of unique types of cells found in that body. Also, every form of participation is categorized by the bodily instrument – the organ and system – which said participation empowers.
Mirroring this, each equal limb of our collective Star-body
represents one of that body’s vital organ-systems. As the
forces of the Human body are said to act through five agents of
function, reflected even in the five primary bodily instrument
systems, it would seem the standard Star-body derived of the
New Culture Plan should be conceptualized with five limbs.
Yet here it is noteworthy to add that a Star is a useful shape in
defining the organization of a modern body and its primary
attributes because Stars can have a variable number of rays or
limbs. The shape is perfectly conducive to the flexibility, scalability and adaptability we were seeking. For example, look to Nature where Star-fish can shed limbs, grow new limbs to replace those previously shed, or change the size and role of limbs in times of transformation or crisis. It is the dynamic, intelligent shape we’re seeking, and there will be times when it doesn’t make sense for embodiments of the Plan to organize with five modes of participation.
Additionally, the extent and regard to which these words are interpreted and implemented is left to the determination of each separate collective embodiment of the Plan.
“Nature fits form to function. And as one's function is refined, their substance will reflect the same.”

at superior forms of organization before us.”
